    I just can't wait, mama !

Pawalla is another one of those monthly subscription box services... for your cats & dogs! I used to get the deluxe box (7-9 products) but it got expensive so I switched over to the mini box (4-5 products). All the products they send are apparently all-natural or organic.

Mini boxes cost $17 for a monthly subscription, $14 for a 6-month subscription, and $12 for a year subscription. If you are interested, you can check it out here.

    What's in the box?
    1. PureLife 4Pets Omega 3 Support - .30 fl oz, $28.50
    2. Charming Pet Dudley the Dog Toy - small, $6
    3. Dynamo Dog Functional Treats: Tummy - 5 oz, $5.99
    4. Fresh Dog Oatmeal Shampoo - 2 fl oz, $5
    5. Smart n' Tasty Dog Treats: Duck w/ Blueberries - 5 oz, $5.99 (Bonus item!)
    Total cost of box: $51.48

The pups really love the Duck with Blueberries treat! They also love the Dynamo Tummy treats, but the duck is their favorite. I will be purchasing the duck treats again. Pig (the Pekingese) is not that crazy about toys but Teddy (the Lhasa-poo) loved the Charming Pet toy - it squeaks! Toys he gets from Pawalla always seem to become his new favorites.

Overall, I'm happy with this month's Pawalla Box. I wasn't too happy with last month's box because it was 4 weeks late and there was a repeat item (I've gotten the same thing in one of the previous boxes). I only hated the repeat product because it was something that both of my dogs didn't like, so it was pretty much a waste for me. This month's box was also late, but they made up for it by giving us an extra item.

    That's all folks!

Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Endless Great Lash Complex & Fibres Mascara
I was selected by Influenster to try this exclusive preview of Rimmel's new mascara... before it even hit the shelves! As a mascara freak, I was pretty excited.

This brush will supposedly "catch" your lashes and separate them for a clump-free result!

    Claims:

This mascara focuses on lengthening and separating. And it promises that in 30 days, your lashes will be "longer, stronger, and more numerous". I'll get back with you on that.

I have unfortunate Asian lashes. They're short, thin, sparse, and they grow downwards. I usually coat on the mascara to get fuller, thicker, longer lashes. My lashes almost always end up clumpy, even if I just use one coat. So let's see if Rimmel's Endless Mascara will hold up to its claim of a clump-free result.

    Application:

1 coat of Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara

Wow! What a difference! The mascara did an amazing job at separating my lashes, and the bristles brushed out any clumps that would normally start forming when you apply too much mascara.

I also noticed that this mascara helped curl my downward-growing lashes - no eyelash curler!
My lashes dried to a semi-crisp, but still had movement and bounce when I touched them.

    Verdict: A
Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara has exceeded my expectations! I really love how it lengthened and separated my lashes, but best of all: NO CLUMPING! I only need to use 1 coat because the mascara brush was so good at evenly distributing/coating the product onto my lashes.

Did I also mention that it's a drugstore product? Meaning it will be affordable and easily accessible! The pros of this mascara… is too damn high!

    Ingredients:
    2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
    ¼ tsp garlic salt
    ½ cup carrot
    ½ cup cabbage
    ½ cup baby corn
    ¼ cup yellow onion
    1 cup broccoli
    2 tbs stir-fry oil

    Sauce:
    1 cup chicken broth
    1 tbs soy sauce
    1 tsp sugar

    Sauce thickener:
    4 tsp cornstarch
    water

    Method:
    1. Remove all of the fat from the chicken and cut each breast into ½ inch squares. Sprinkle them with the garlic salt and use your hand to mix it in thoroughly. Let it marinate at room temperature for 20 minutes.

    2. Peel the carrot and cut diagonally into thin slices. Place in bowl filled with hot water and microwave for 2-3 minutes. Drain, set aside. Cut cabbage into ½ inch pieces, set aside.

    3. Place baby corn in bowl filled with water and microwave for 2-3 minutes. Drain, set aside.

    4. Rinse the broccoli crown under cold running water. Cut off the florets and break any large florets into smaller pieces. Place pieces in bowl filled with hot water and microwave for 3-4 minutes, or just until crisp-tender.

    5. Make the sauce and sauce thickener.

    6. Heat a wok on high. Add 1 tablespoon of stir-fry oil and let it get hot. When the oil is hot add the chicken and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes, or until it lightly browns.

    7. Once chicken browns, remove it from the wok and place it on a plate and set it aside.

    8. Add another tablespoon of stir-fry oil and let it get hot. Add the carrots, onions, and cabbage. Stir-fry for 3 minutes, or until they are crisp-tender.

    9. Add in broccoli, sauce, and the chicken. Let the sauce come to a boil.

    10. Just as the sauce starts to come to a boil, add the cornstarch mixture and stir until the sauce thickens.

    11. Ready to serve! Makes 2 to 3 servings.

Finally got my Ipsy bag !!! *confetti*

Out of all the bags, this month's was the most anticipated for me. Since I've been subscribed, I've never been so eager and impatient for my bag to arrive. And it didn't help that it took 5 days to arrive (I live 2 hours away from where the bags are shipped out). But honestly, I can't really complain about a service that they're providing for free. Ahem, free shipping.

    Subscribe to IPSY for $10/month.

    What I received:
    1. Juice Beauty Reflecting Gloss in 'Pink' - .14 fl oz (full size), $15
    2. Pacifica Roll-on Perfume in 'Island Vanilla' - .33 oz (full size), $12
    3. Zoya Nail Polish in 'Piaf' - .50 fl oz (full size), $8
    4. Nume Finishing Serum - .33 oz (sample size), $4.79
    5. Yaby Concealer Refill in 'Vanilla'- 3.50 g (full size), $4.85
    6. Bonus item! Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow in 'Stargazer' - .05 oz (full size), $20
    Total cost of bag: $64.64

The Yaby concealer in 'Vanilla' looks to be too light for my medium/tan skin, but I can use it for highlighting so it's workable. I wasn't too happy with the color 'Piaf' I got for my Zoya nail polish because it was the only color I didn't want (I wanted to try more colors), but let me not knock it 'til I've tried it.

All the items in my bag were full size except for the Nume Finishing Serum, but even that was a generous sample size. What a sweet deal for only $10.70 (I pay tax because I live in NC). Can other subscription boxes offer all their subscribers the same deal for $10/month? I don't know but I'm loving Ipsy more and more each month!

    Closeups & swatches

Pacifica Roll-on Perfume in 'Island Vanilla'
It smells like vanilla, brown sugar, and some kind of island scent. So the name is spot-on!
I put some on the back of my hand 3 hours ago and I can still smell it when I sniff my hand. However, the island smell is gone; only the vanilla scent remains.

Juice Beauty Reflecting Gloss in 'Pink'
It goes on very sheer, just slightly giving a tint to your lips. The sparkles are tiny and not that noticeable. It's not sticky at all, so I don't mind wearing it with my hair down in the wind. The scent, to me, smells like Jolly Ranchers… or just candy in general. Lovin' it ~

    Zoya Nail Polish in 'Piaf'
It's a beautiful color, just not for me. I don't think it looks good with my tan skintone.
I'm in love with the formula and the way it applies. So smooth, no streaks.. an even color.

I was one of the few lucky people to receive the Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow this month, most likely because of my blog. According to Ipsy, there were 3 ways to win the eyeshdaow:
1.) Referring 2 friends to Ipsy using your unique sign-up code
2.) Responding to their giveaway post on Facebook
3.) Blogging / vlogging about Ipsy (link your blog account to your Ipsy profile!)

Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow in 'Stargazer'
It's a shimmery green-gold color with brown undertones and golden sparkles

Light swatches of Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow in 'Stargazer'
I haven't tried it on wet but I assume it will look more intense.

    Lorac GLOgetter Palette

Lorac GLOgetter is a limited edition ULTA exclusive eyeshadow palette. This gem of a palette retails for ONLY $20!! Comes in 8 bright colors and 2 neutral shades: some matte, some shimmers, some duochrome. And the 2 neutral shades are twice the size of the brights!

Prior to buying, I called my ULTA to check on their stock and they said there was only one left (it's been only 4 days since it's hit the shelves)! So I called my hubby, who was in the area, to go pick it up for me! hehe!

(Feel free to click on any photos to enlarge them)

It's smaller than the size of my hand!
    Perfect for traveling :)

First brown shade is matte, the rest of the saturated colors are shimmery.
Neutral shade on the bottom is almost matte, with very slight shimmer.

The first two eyeshadows are shimmery,
the two eyeshadows on the right are duochrome,
and the neutral shade on the bottom is very shimmery.

These swatches are done with 1-2 swipe/s and without a primer.
So pigmented! And goes on so smooth and buttery...

    Here's a closeup:
    SHADE 1: matte brown
    SHADE 2: shimmery taupe
    SHADE 3: shimmery light tangerine

    SHADE 4: shimmery aquamarine
    SHADE 5: shimmery electric indigo
    SHADE 6: shimmery bronzey brown

SHADE 7: pale aqua with gold duochrome
SHADE 8: purple with blue duochrome

SHADE 9: champagne color with slight shimmer
    SHADE 10: shimmery champagne
Here are the two neutral shades, which can be used as the perfect base/highlighting color. They look similar on my skin tone, but the second shade is definitely more shimmery than the first. The shimmer in the first shade is finer and less noticeable.

    Final verdict: A+

All the eyeshadows in this palette have great color payoff. They are pigmented without a primer, and they go on so smoothly. I can only imagine how vibrant they would be WITH a primer. Lorac is a high-end makeup brand, and their eyeshadows are no doubt high quality. And with a 20$ price tag, GLOgetter was too good to pass up.

Is it worth the money? Absolutely yes!
I think everyone should have this palette in their collection, especially if they don't have any of these colors yet. I still can't get over the two gorgeous duochrome shades. Even my hubby loves them. PLUS! It's only $20, people! You can't beat that price, not from a high end brand!
