    Closeups & swatches

Pop Beauty Plump Pout in 'Fuchsia Freesia' — $7.50
I am actually surprisingly obsessed with this! The color is opaque and long-lasting.
Not sticky at all. The only bad thing is the smell of burnt plastic.

Eyetini Shadow + Base in 'Violette' — $18
Another item I didn't think I would love as much as I do.

Not a fan of the color BUT this works as an AMAZING base/primer.
So pigmented, but can be sheered out.
    Easy to blend, creamy formula.
Not sticky, but eyeshadows adhere to it.
Eye makeup didn't crease & lasted for hours.

Like any great primer, it made my eyeshadows look more vibrant. Nothing like a good color payoff eh?

    J.Cat Beauty Eyelashes + Eyelash Glue — $3.99
When I told my husband in excitement that these lashes were made out of 100% human hair, his response was - "Ew?" hahaha.

I'm in my false lashes phase right now, so these are perfect. My hubby likes them because they look natural. The glue was ok... I will not be using it again because the lashes came off a little bit after a few hours.

Look what came to my door steps today, guys!

Influenster's The Sally Hansen Total Knock Out VoxBox
Not just one, but THREE polishes to try out!

I haven't gotten one of these since June, my goodness.
I've even accepted my fate of never receiving a single VoxBox again.
    Influenster, you do love me.

*picture heavy* (for lack of words)

Red My Lips (candy apple red), Jaded (Tiffany blue), Pat on the Black (dark plum)

    LOTS OF CLAIMS

    Jaded & Red My Lips

OPACITY: Red My Lips & Pat on the Black were very opaque - you only needed 1 coat for the color to appear as it does in the bottle. I loved that ! Jaded went on quite sheer, but you can build it up to look like the color in the bottle (it took me 3 coats - shown in picture above).

BRUSH: What I noticed first about the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure was its wide, flat brush. The tip of the brush was oval, I assume to match the oval shape of our cuticles, resulting in an easier and overall better application! The flat brush made it so effortless to evenly distribute the polish all across the nail. This also makes it less likely for the polish to streak. Although the formula is so rich and creamy that I doubt you would even experience streaking in the first place.

SHINE: The second thing I noticed was how shiny the finish was. I usually pat on the top coat to have my nails have that super shiny look. A friend of mine even thought I had gel nails on, haha! You need not a topcoat with the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure.

DRY TIME: Another amazing surprise…. it really DOES dry fast (or at least, faster than most polishes I've tried). This makes me very happy, mainly because I'm clumsy and I often mess up my nails right after they've been painted.

LONGEVITY: I wore Pat on the Black (3 coats) for an entire week before the color starts chipping. I did minimal things that involved my hands, but it was still pretty amazing.

GROWTH: My nails usually grow out pretty fast on their own, so I didn't notice any difference in growth.

COLOR: So far there's 50 available colors to choose from !

Overall, I'm really impressed with the Sally Hansen Total Salon Manicure polish. Great quality and value for the price. I put it in the same category as some of my beloveds, Orly and Zoya. A+

Influenster Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara brand challenge prize box
Everyone who participated in the challenge were promised a box, which was amazing!

Guess how excited I was seeing this on my door step when I came home !!

SO MUCH GOODIES! Influenster, why are you so good to me!

From left to right, top to bottom:
Stay Glossy 3D Lip Gloss - Candy Floss (hotpink), Popcorn for 2 (sheer light pink)
Kate Moss Lasting Finish Matte Lipstick - 104 (rose pink), 107 (dark wine-red)
ScandalEYES Shadow Stick - Bad Girl Bronze (red-copper), Witness White
ScandalEYES Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner - Nude, Black
BB Cream with SPF 25 - Medium/Dark, Medium, Light

Rimmel London BB Cream with SPF 25 in Light, Medium, Medium/Dark
The 'Medium' matched the shade of my face pretty well, which I was quite happy about. Rimmel foundations I have purchased in the past have never matched my skintone because they were more pink/neutral based than yellow/olive. I was surprised and happy that one of these shades worked for me.
The 'Light' color turned my face gray (I was trying to use it as a highlight/concealer). Not a surprise there... it was too light for my yellow-olive skin. The 'Medium/Dark' shade was darker and very red-based. I'm thinking about using it as a contour... or I might just give it away.

    Stay Glossy 3D Lip Gloss
The lipgloss is sticky, which is a big no-no for me. I was also turned off by the smell of it when I first opened the tube. I usually don't care about smells but it honestly smelled cheap. I'm not a fan of all the glitter / shimmer either... it made me feel like I was back in middle school when I wore it. I would probably love these way back in the day... not so much now. The shade 'Popcorn for 2' is wearable though, since it's very sheer/almost clear... those kinds of shades usually go with everything.

    ScandalEYES Shadow Stick
I am seriously in LOVE with these. The creamiest eyeshadow sticks I've ever gotten from the drugstore... almost comparable to some high-end brands. Slides on so smoothly, and the shades are so pigmented. Very easy to blend. Long lasting. No negative notes.

Kate Moss Lasting Finish Matte Lipstick First thing I notice... the SMELL. Don't worry, it's pleasant! It smells really fruity, like berries. I couldn't stop smelling the lipstick. I love the colors I got. The rose pink (104) blended nicely with the color of my lips.. so it was like my lips, but way better. The wine-red shade (107) is so perfect for fall/winter since it is a dark red with berry undertones. Both shades are very pigmented and lasts at least 2 hours.

    Closeups & swatches

    Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick
I received the shade in '69'

    Urban Decay Revolution '69' Lipstick
Smooth application. Super pigmented. 1 swipe goes a long way.

Urban Decay Revolution '69' Lipstick (indoor, natural lighting)
Lasted 4 hours before the color started fading off.

Full size retails $22 at Sephora.
    Available in 20 shades.

Michael Todd Pumpkin Nutrient-Rich Facial Mask
Nourishing & moisturizing. Not for sensitive skin.
Slight burning sensation upon first applying, but the feeling was quickly gone after a few seconds. After washing the mask off, my face felt sooo soft and supple... like a baby's bottom! It's been 3 days since I used it, and no breakouts so far.

Pixi 'Blackest Black' Lash Booster Mascara
Honestly, nothing special about this one... it performs ok at lengthening, results are clumpy, and it doesn't hold curls. I own a lot of mascaras and I would never reach for this one knowing I have others that perform much better. The formula seems to be waterproof as well, which isn't something I prefer in my mascara.

Chella 'Dazzling Dark Brown' Eyebrow Pencil
LOVE THIS! The formula is so creamy, it glides on so smoothly. The skinny pencil actually makes it really easy to define the brows. And best of all... no sharpening! I got the color in 'dark brown', which matches my hair/skintone perfectly.

Chella 'Dazzling Dark Brown' Eyebrow Pencil

    Pacifica Alight Multi-Mineral BB Cream
Doesn't have much coverage, it's more like a sheer tinted moisturizer, but I love the way it smoothens and evens out my face. My face felt so soft afterwards, I couldn't stop touching it. Has a really nice smell that's slightly perfumey but not too overwhelming.

Lime Crime 'Crema de Limon' Nail Polish

    Closeups & swatches

Big Sexy Hair, Nicole by OPI, derma e, bh cosmetics, Pop Beauty, & COOLA
All the goodies + bonus gift, and a pink transparent vinyl bag !

Shall I mention how much I love receiving the little makeup bags with my goodies? I know some people think they're pointless, but I just love collecting things.. anything.. I'm weird like that.
(I have started using the bag as a pencil pouch, lol)

    Derma E Microdermabrasion Scrub
Ahhh! Giant hole! I always feel duped when this happens.
This thing smells SOOOOOOO good. I can't wait to smear it on my face!

Big Sexy Hair Weather Proof Humidity Resistant Spray
Claims to repel humidity, combat frizz, and maintain styled hair. Interesting...

    COOLA Mineral Sunscreen Unscented Moisturizer
Quite a small sample compared to the usual samples we get from Ipsy. It's the size of my finger!
I got the unscented one, which I'm happy about but is unfortunately not tinted. The other variety is the Rose Essence Tinted Moisturizer. I would've preferred that one, but I'm happy to try out my first mineral sunscreen.

POP Beauty Pouty Pop Crayon in 'Coral Crush'
I was really hoping for Fuchsia Flirt (hot pink) or Rose Romance (nude pink)
since I already got a coral lip liner last month. But I can't deny that this coral is pretty too.

POP Beauty Pouty Pop Crayon in 'Coral Crush'
It goes on smooth; so creamy and moisturizing.

Nicole by OPI Selena Gomez Nail Lacquer in 'Pretty in Plum'
This is my 2nd referral gift, for referring 2 more friends. Kinda caught me by surprise 'cause I didn't get any e-mails after my first initial 2 referrals. Ipsy, this is an amazing reward program! ;)

    Bonus:

It's always appropriate to end a post with my pekingese sniffing some items for approval.
